| | | | 1) Academic | | |  | 2009 GCE O-Level Results | | | Congratulations to our batch of 2009 Sec 4 pupils. The school has done very well in the 2009 GCE O-Level Examinations. There is significant improvement in all the key performance indicators which placed the school firmly as the overall Top Performing School. Percentage of distinctions increased in most subjects, in particular, English Language, Literature in English, Combined Humanities, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Art. Based on comparable data from MOE, SCGS is top in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Geography and amongst the top in Combined Humanities, English Language, English Literature and Art. Other subjects also maintained a high level of performance, with about 75% of candidates scoring an L1R5 aggregate score of 10 points or less.
