Edusave Scholarship for Primary Schools (ESPS)
Singaporean pupils studying in Primary 5 or 6 are eligible for the Edusave Scholarship for Primary Schools (ESPS) if they are amongst the top 10% of their level and stream based on year-end school examination results.
The value of this award is as follows:
$400 for pupils in the top 5 per cent
$350 for the next 5 per cent
Edusave Entrance Scholarship for Independent Schools (EESIS)
The Edusave Entrance Scholarships for Independent Schools (EESIS) are awarded to the top one-third of the total number of Secondary 1 pupils based on their PSLE results. Singaporean pupils with outstanding performance in the PSLE will be invited to apply for the EESIS.
The annual scholarship quantum is $2,400 less the annual amount of school and standard miscellaneous fees paid by pupils in government/ government-aided secondary schools, whichever is lower, less any another subsidies provided by MOE or the School for Independent School fees.
Edusave (Independent Schools) Yearly Award (EISYA)
The Edusave (Independent Schools) Yearly Awards are offered to pupils who are not EESIS holders. These are given to the top 5% Singaporean pupils by level based on their school examination results at the end of the year.
The annual scholarship quantum is $2,400 less the annual amount of school and standard miscellaneous fees paid by pupils in government/government-aided secondary schools, whichever is lower, less any another subsidies provided by MOE or the School for Independent School fees.
Edusave Merit Bursary (EMB)
Singaporean pupils who are not recipients of any Edusave Scholarship and are from household income below $4,000 can apply for the Edusave Merit Bursary if they are within the top 25% of each level and stream.
The value of this award is as follows:
$200 for Primary 1 to 3
$250 for Primary 4 to 6
$350 for Secondary 1 to 4
Good Progress Awards (GPA)
Singaporean pupils who do not qualify for the Edusave scholarship or merit bursary but have made significant improvement in academic performance are eligible for the Good Progress Award.
The awards are given to 10% of pupils from Primary 2 upwards who have shown good progress.
The value of this award is as follows:
$100 for Primary 2 to 3
$150 for Primary 4 to 6
$200 for Secondary 1 to 4
Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES)
Singaporean pupils who show leadership and excel in nonacademic areas are eligible for the Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES). The award is given based on the pupil’s achievement in co-curricular activities and contribution to community services over a one-year period.
The awards are given to 5% of pupils from Primary 4 upwards. Pupils will be selected at the end of the year if they meet the criteria. Recipients of Edusave scholarships, bursaries or good progress awards will still be eligible for this award.
The value of this award is as follows:
$150 for Primary 4 to 6
$200 for Secondary 1 to 4
SCGS Jinyu Meritorious Scholarship
Talented pupils with excellent academic records (PSLE score of 260 and above) or outstanding achievements in a field other than sports and games are welcomed to apply for this scholarship to study in the Secondary School.
The SCGS Jinyu Meritorious Scholarship shall cover:
School fees as charged by SCGS for local students for the year. Should the scholar also be in receipt of any other scholarship or bursary covering all or part of such fees, the Scholarship will cover only the difference between the student’s school fees (local rate) and such other sum due to her under any other scholarship or bursary.
A monthly award of $100 to cover educational expenses.

SCGS Sports Scholarship
Talented pupils with outstanding achievements in sports and games and good academic records are welcomed to apply for this scholarship to study in the Secondary School.
The SCGS Sports Scholarship shall cover:
School fees as charged by SCGS for local students for the year. Should the scholar also be in receipt of any other scholarship or bursary covering all or part of such fees, the Scholarship will cover only the difference between the student’s school fees (local rate) and such other sum due to her under any other scholarship or bursary.
The scholar may claim reimbursement for coaching fees up to the amount of $600 per annum should there be no coaches offered by the school.
Subject to performance and conduct and conditions stated, the scholarship will be renewed yearly to allow the scholar to complete four years of study in the Secondary School.

SCGS Merit Awards
Primary 6 pupils with PSLE score of 255 and above and top pupils in the final examinations at each level (Secondary 1 to 3) will receive merit awards of $500 per year in the following year.
Other Scholarships
There are several scholarships offered by large organisations and foundations. Pupils will be kept informed as and when applications are invited for scholarships.
