SCGS is an all-girls full school in Singapore which takes a child from Primary 1 (6 years old), through the Primary School Leaving Examination, to Secondary 4 (sixteen years old) to graduate with the GCE O-Levels. This widely recognized exit examination marks a critical crossroad from which point our girls may choose different paths leading to many possible educational and career options.
SCGS offers both the GCE ‘O' Level and the Integrated Programme (IP). We have a good track record in the GCE ‘O' Level results and have consistently been a Band 1 School, known for adding value to our pupils. The SCGS joint IP, offered in partnership with Catholic High School and CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School, provides an alternative educational pathway leading to the GCE ‘A' Level at a new junior college. The IP offers an exceptional blend of excellence in academic and leadership development; focused on cultivating intellectual resilience and ethical leadership while facilitating the pursuit of possibilities.
Our SCGS’ Talent Programme launched in 2008 stems from our belief that every SCGS pupil’s gifts, talents and interests will be nurtured to its fullest potential. We are committed to ensuring that all our pupils, whichever programme they are in, will gain a deeper and richer learning experience that nurtures them into world-ready leaders of character and relevance.
